Rayat Group of Institutions joins hands with Red Hat to start BTech CSE with specialisation in emerging technologies 

 

 Rayat Group of Institutions today announced its collaboration with top MNC Red Hat.  As part of this initiative, students will be given training and certification on open source, Linux, Cloud, Middleware and DevOps – which are the emerging technologies and most sought after in the Information Technology world at Red Hat Academy set up at Its Ropar Campus .

First batch of the BTech will started in new academic session from June 2019 with a intake of 30 students  on the merit basis. 

Mr. Abid Matoo, Partner Manager-Global Learning Services, Red Hat Mumbai was the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony. Red Hat Academy helps academic institutions turn into centres that will impart industry-specific courses for the students, thus bridging the gap between industry and academia. Worldwide, the company has partnerships with 1,000 institutions out of which 250 are in India. The training, according to Mr. Abid Matoo, Red Hat Academy Programme will be spread across a specific period and the students will be skilled on Cloud, Middleware and DevOps Technologies and this will be added to their BTech degree and will help them in building their careers successfully,” Matoo said.

Dr Suresh Seth,Campus Director Rayat Group of Institutions Ropar said, “The technologies like Cloud, DevOps and Middleware are something that are here to stay for long and we recognise that students need to be skilled in the cutting edge growth markets. Thus, this collaboration with Red Hat will help our students to earn add-on specialization in these areas and be employable and productive on day one .

Dr. Harish Kundra, Director of the Rayat Institute of Engineering and Technology Ropar in his vote of thanks said that the students will be benefitted by the exposure of this software as it is a universal platform which is available across the globe. Dr. Kundra assured that the students of the rural area will learn these high-end software’s and will get employability benefits, which is the prime motto of our group. He said these skills will benefit the students and faculty members to learn high end software’s and help them to clear various certification   exams of RED HAT . hese courses are very much in demand in INDIA and ABROAD .
