RAYAT SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (RSDC)

Introduction.

 

    1. In 2010 Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes entered PPP in Automobile Sector with Ford, Volks Wagen, Maruti Sazuki, Volvo Eicher, Royal En Field and Bosch and in 2014 with IT Industry with Wipro and IBM, opened an independent Skill Development Centre in five acres with1,00,000 sq ft  working space . This worked as success in North Western India where students of B Tech, Poly Tech and ITI were trained with industry trainees at the Skill Development Centre improving the academic & Placement standards.

 

  1. This experience of PPP invited Chief Ministers of Northern States from Govt of Punjab, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and dignitaries from USA, Australia, UK and Germany. In 2019 PMKVY Skill courses were opened at Rail Majra SBS Nagar Punjab which was extended with DDUGKY courses in 2020? The Group is opening Multiple Skill Centre at Hoshiarpur and Skill Development Centre at Patiala and Tonsa in Haryana in 2021.

  1. Objectives
  • Determining skills/ competency standards, qualifications and development of National Occupational Standards (NOS).
  • Preparation and maintenance of skills inventory to facilitate individual choices.
  • Development of sector specific skill development plans.
  • Establishment of a well-structured, sector specific Labor Market Information System (LMIS) to assist planning and delivery of training.

Rayat Skill Development Centre is affiliated to Punjab Skill Development Mission [PSDM] and Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.

  1. PMKVY 3.0 Non Residential Courses.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation [NSDC].

Selection Procedure :-
Facilities:

  • All courses of DDU GKY, PMKVY and RPL are free of cost.
  • Hostel Facilities for Boys and Girls in separate Boys and Girls Hostels.
  • Only DDUGKY courses provide free hostel facilities.
  • Study Material and Books will be provided by RSDC.
  • ToT (Training of Teacher) Certified Trainers from Respective Sector Skill Councils.
  • Placement support for all eligiblecandidates.
  • Post Placement Support for all Placed Candidates.

 

  1. Certificates.

 

  1. All the skill development Programmes are planned, monitored, assessed, certified and followed up by Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD).
  2. The Certificates of these courses are recognized in India & abroad.

 

  1. Placements:

Fitter Mechanical–

  • Life Science has been placed at Vardhman Group of Industries, Baddi, with incentive of 8500/-. And monthly salary with allowances 12,000/- onwards.
  • Life Science Candidates has been Placed at Allena auto Industries (P) Ltd, Mohali with the incentive of 14517/-

 

Front Office  –

 

  • Front Office associate candidates have been Placed in Aerial Telecom Solutions Pvt Ltd, Mohali with incentives of 11,800/-

 

Beauty Wellness.

 

  • Pedicurist and Manicurist Candidates have been places at Aerial Telecom Solutions Pvt Ltd, Mohali with incentives of 11,800/-
