About Department
Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2007 with the intake of 60. Department feels proud of its alumni employed in Public, Private and Educational sectors bringing good name to their alma mater. The whole team of Information Technology Department is working with a sense of responsibility and dedication to excel and achieve success in this era of Computer Science.
Apart from imparting conventional technical education and rich learning environment, emphasis is laid on co-curricular activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, debates and quizzes to prepare students for highly competitive job market. The objective of the department is to provide knowledge of modern computing systems as well as sound theoretical background to meet emerging needs of students. Also the department aims at establishing strong relationship with the industry so as to bridge the gap between the academia and corporate sector. The department aims at cultivating qualities like leadership, teamwork, self confidence, good communication skills among its students and is committed to insure life long learning attitude.

Labs & Workshops at Rayat Polytechnic College are equipped with well-quality equipments. Experiments are performed under the guidance of expert teachers and Lab technicians. Instruction manuals are available for all the experiments. Labs and Workshops are clean and are user-friendly.
