Message from Dean Academics
Rayat Bahra Ropar Campus, Punjab is a center of learning where young talent is nurtured in different fields of engineering. The major emphasis is on imparting technical training to encourage curiosity and innovativeness among the students and the foundation from where they can acquire quick learning ability and adaptively with the fast changing needs of the industry.
The institute continues to strive to meet the mission to mold youth into world-class technocrats of tomorrow who would endeavor to increase the quality of life for human kind. The goal is to position the engineering graduates to be problem solvers, project leaders, communicators, and ethical citizens of a global community.
I am confident that our students would be an asset to the organization through their technical and managerial capabilities.

Message from Dean R&D
The goal of the Research & Development Department is to enhance interaction and cooperation between researchers for interdisciplinary and Multi-disciplinary work.The Research and Development department’s mandate is to bring critical, challenging and thought provoking content to the students. It gives me immense pleasure that the R&D Profile of the Institute is finally published as a consequence of the concerted effort in presenting the significant R&D related activities, achievements, facilities of different Schools of the Institute. It showcases the research strength and outcome of the Institute for not only the academic community of the country but for the outside world as well. R&D department basically handles all the queries and rules and regulations related to Dissertation. The mission of the R&D cell is to help the students to complete the process of Dissertation. It aims to help the students to solve their problems related to the publications. The department also monitors and records individual progress of students. The purpose of establishing the department is to inculcate the spirit and culture of research amongst all the stakeholders like students, faculties.
I wish to express my deep sense of gratitude to the faculty members and Heads of the departments for their co-operation.

Dear Students,
A Warm Welcome to all of you to R.I.E.I.T. I am sure that you will devote your time into academics and gain lot of experiences during your stay at the Institution and grow as an individual. As a member of the Institution community and the Dean Students’ Welfare, I encourage you to participate in your academic programmes whole heartedly and also to develop your skills and competence by participating in various activities of the Institution.
The Office of the Dean Students Welfare acts as a bridge between the students and the authorities and aims at addressing any problems and issues of the students and providing a solution to it. This office also ensures to provide facilities to the students, taking care of the needs of the students and also maintain discipline in the campus. In fact, office of Dean Students Welfare functions as a nodal centre to promote cooperation and fellowship among students on campus. It is actively involved in coordinating activities for the welfare of students. Taking into account their difficulties and socio-economic diversities against cultural relativism, it provides them facilities to articulate their creativity and aspirations.
I am sure, you will enjoy your time here and it will be a great learning experience for you. We will work, learn and grow together and take the Institute to the highest peak in the academic field and maintain the highest standards with diverse cultural heritage.
